Adventure Time is more than a bar—it’s a Denver gathering place built around great drinks, creative people,

and the kind of nights that turn strangers into friends and family.

The Spotlight Series

Drinks led. Food followed.

Since moving to Denver, we’ve felt an extraordinary sense of community within the hospitality industry. Even in the first handful of months of Adventure Time being open, we wanted to celebrate the people who welcomed us—and the remarkable talent working throughout this city.

Denver’s beverage professionals bring the creativity, skill, and perspective you would expect from any major cocktail market, but with a generosity and sense of connection that feel distinctly Colorado.

With the help of our participating chefs, friends, and sponsors, the Spotlight Series became a summer platform for nine exceptional Denver beverage professionals who did not yet have a venue of their own.

Each bartender was paired with a chef who created small bites inspired by the cocktails, turning the traditional food-and-beverage pairing on its head. The drinks led; the food followed.

More than a pop-up, the Spotlight Series gave talented beverage professionals a place to show Denver who they are, bring a complete creative vision to life, and experience what ownership could feel like for one night.

The Big Eat is presented by EatDenver, a nonprofit membership organization that connects and empowers the region's independent food and beverage community.

100% of ticket sales directly support our work in hosting monthly industry education programs and facilitating opportunities for professional development, fostering collaboration within the industry through a digital membership platform and networking events, marketing independent restaurants through headline events and social media, and advocating on a local and statewide scale for the needs and values of an inclusive and equitable food and beverage community.

Stand Together

We stand with our fellow restaurant and hospitality workers—especially immigrants and others whose immigration status may put them at greater risk—who work hard, strengthen our industry, and provide for their families. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and humanity, regardless of their race, ethnicity, country of origin, or immigration status.
